My Story
I’ve been “that person” since I was a kid, always rearranging my room, organizing my things, and finding little ways to make a space work better. One thing I never loved, though? Dusting. Growing up as an only child, it was my job to clean the house each week, and while our home wasn’t cluttered, my mom had plenty of knick-knacks. I learned early that more stuff often means more work (and more dusting!).
Then I became a mom, and suddenly our home was filled with all the things: kids’ stuff, school projects, hand-me-downs, “just in case” items, and everything that seems to multiply overnight. The clutter started to make me feel anxious. I tried to organize it all, but my systems never lasted. Before I knew it, the mess was back, and I felt overwhelmed.
It took me a while to finally understood what was missing: I had to declutter the things we didn’t need or use before I could create organizing systems that truly worked. Once I did that, everything changed. Our home felt calmer and more peaceful, it was easier to maintain, and I wasn’t constantly “clutter shuffling” from one spot to another.
Peaceful Spaces LLC was born from that experience. I understand how overwhelming clutter can be, and how emotional it is to sort through belongings tied to memories, seasons of life, or years of “just in case” thinking. My goal is to make the process easier, supportive, and judgment‑free.
Today, I help families, busy homeowners, and seniors throughout the Portland area declutter, organize, and create functional spaces that truly work for their lives. From whole‑home organization and kitchen systems to pre‑listing prep, move‑in support, and compassionate senior downsizing, I bring patience, clarity, and steady guidance to every project.
